Brijendra Mishra has been appointed as Senior Manager at SBI General Insurance, where he will lead initiatives in the Mid Corporate and Broking division from Mumbai. Before joining SBI General Insurance, Brijendra served as Manager at HDFC ERGO General Insurance, where he was part of the Corporate Business Group. In this role, he focused on channel management, strategic planning, and business development, successfully contributing to the company’s corporate client acquisition and partnership strategies. His exceptional performance earned him appreciation from senior leadership for his high-impact contributions.
Earlier in his career, Brijendra worked with ICICI Lombard General Insurance in multiple roles, including CSM and Senior USM, where he handled ICICI Bank’s Bancassurance Home Vertical. He led a team of five professionals, managing business operations across HDFC Bank branches and driving general insurance growth. His ability to manage diverse portfolios—from health and motor to SME and group health insurance—earned him recognition through the HIGHFLIERS 2022–23 award, presented by ICICI Lombard’s Executive Director Sanjeev Mantri and HR Head Jerry Jose.
Brijendra began his insurance journey with Bharti AXA General Insurance as a Business Development Executive in Nagpur, where he honed his skills in customer relationship management, sales strategy, and team coordination. His early exposure to the insurance ecosystem provided him with a strong foundation in both retail and corporate business verticals.
