Sambit Mishra has been appointed as Assistant General Manager – Marketing at Shanmukha Agritech Limited, marking another significant step in his career across the agri-input industry. With 9+ years of experience in the sector, Sambit brings strong expertise in Product Management, Brand Management, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Commercialisation, with a career focused on taking products and brands from concept and launch to market adoption and scale.
Prior to this appointment, Sambit served as Marketing Manager – Branding, Marcom & Product Management (Nutrition & PGR) at Mankind Agritech, where he developed and implemented marketing and sales strategies for speciality products while working closely with ATL, BTL, digital, and purchase teams. His earlier experience includes product and marketing leadership roles at Godrej Agrovet, Sahyadri Farmers Producer Company, and Dhanuka Agritech, where he contributed to product portfolio management, market development, brand strategy, business planning, and integrated marketing initiatives across the agricultural ecosystem.
A key strength of Sambit’s professional journey is his farmer-centric approach to marketing, translating technical product propositions into simple, relevant, and actionable field communication. He has led impactful soil-health awareness and adoption initiatives including “Mitti Ki Chitthi – An Ode to Soil,” “Mitti Hi Srishti” across 1,000+ schools, and “Krishi Mai Navdurga – Maati Mitra.” His experience also includes building integrated communication ecosystems spanning ATL, BTL, digital, dealer engagement, content, and field activation, including communication assets for more than 100 products.
In his new role at Shanmukha Agritech Limited, Sambit is well positioned to leverage his experience across the complete product lifecycle—from strategy and positioning to commercialisation, market adoption, and scale. A key differentiator of his leadership is his ability to bridge strategy with execution, working closely with Sales, R&D, Technical, and other cross-functional teams to translate marketing plans into meaningful field outcomes. His appointment reflects his growing leadership in agri-input marketing and his ability to build brands, strengthen product adoption, and create sustainable business value.
