Swati Mishra has been appointed as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources at Schindler India, where she will serve as the HR Business Partner for Sales and Service divisions based in Delhi. With over a decade of diverse HR leadership experience, she brings a strong track record in strategic workforce management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development within large-scale, multi-sector environments.
Before joining Schindler India, Swati held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager at Metso, where she spearheaded strategic HR initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion, and capability building in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. She played a pivotal role in managing HRBP and resourcing functions for the Alwar setup, ensuring compliance, cost competitiveness, and fostering a culture of safety and high performance. Her leadership was instrumental in building a zero-harm workplace culture that improved employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Her journey at Metso Outotec further deepened her expertise in HR business partnering for manufacturing operations. Swati led key initiatives in employee engagement, leadership development, and policy structuring, aligning HR practices with business objectives to drive organizational success. Her hands-on approach to people management helped create high-performing teams and enhanced cross-functional collaboration.
Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at The Phoenix Mills Ltd., where she managed end-to-end HR operations for the Lucknow region. Swati was responsible for driving employee relations, performance management, and talent retention strategies, contributing significantly to the company’s expansion and workforce stability during critical business growth phases. She also briefly served as a Senior Consultant on freelance assignments, providing strategic HR solutions to clients in Uttar Pradesh.
Swati’s appointment at Schindler India marks an important step in strengthening the company’s human capital strategy, especially in its sales and service operations.
