Chinmay Dash has been appointed as the Head of Purchase and Supply Chain at Marzoli, a global leader in textile machinery and automation solutions. In this new leadership role, he will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement operations, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain optimization across the organization. His appointment marks a strategic move by Marzoli to strengthen its operational efficiency and supply chain resilience in India.
With more than 15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing, Chinmay brings deep domain expertise and a proven ability to drive cost efficiency, supplier collaboration, and business transformation. Prior to joining Marzoli, he was associated with Vitesco Technologies for over five years, where he played a key role as Category Manager and Team Lead for Plant Purchasing, successfully managing global sourcing initiatives and enhancing supplier performance in the automotive sector.
Before his tenure at Vitesco, Chinmay had a long and successful association with Magneti Marelli, where he spent nearly a decade managing procurement for chemical commodities and leading purchasing functions across electronic systems and powertrain divisions. His strong technical understanding, combined with strategic supplier engagement, helped streamline operations and reduce costs while ensuring high quality and reliability in the supply chain.
Throughout his career, Chinmay has demonstrated excellence in vendor negotiations, risk management, and procurement analytics. His expertise extends across global sourcing strategies, lean procurement practices, and the integration of digital tools to improve transparency and efficiency in supply chain operations.
