Satish Mogili has joined SmartVision Eye Hospitals as Head of Operations, bringing with him over 14 years of extensive experience in healthcare management and operational leadership. With a proven track record in driving organisational efficiency, patient care excellence, and business growth, Satish is set to play a key role in strengthening the hospital’s operational framework and service delivery.
Before this appointment, Satish served at Sharat Maxivision Eye Hospital for nearly eight years, where he progressed through senior roles including Senior General Manager – Operations and later Cluster Head. In these roles, he successfully managed large teams, oversaw P&L responsibilities, ensured operational excellence, and contributed to strategic planning alongside senior leadership. His ability to balance patient care with business sustainability has been a hallmark of his career.
Satish began his professional journey as a Consultant Optometrist and Contact Lens Specialist at the prestigious L V Prasad Eye Institute. Over seven years, he specialised in advanced contact lens fitting, clinical ophthalmology, and patient care, gaining deep insights into both the clinical and operational sides of healthcare delivery. This unique blend of clinical expertise and business acumen has enabled him to lead hospital operations with a holistic approach.
An alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Satish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry and later pursued his MBA in Global Business from Deakin University, Australia. His academic background in healthcare management, strategy formulation, and financial analysis has further enhanced his leadership capabilities.
In his new role at SmartVision Eye Hospitals, Satish is expected to leverage his expertise in operations management, business strategy, and patient safety to drive sustainable growth, enhance service quality, and reinforce the hospital’s mission of providing world-class eye care.
