Prahalad Mane has joined Aculife Healthcare Private Ltd as the Cluster Quality Control Head, bringing with him nearly three decades of expertise in pharmaceutical quality management and compliance. In this leadership role, he will be responsible for overseeing sterile and non-sterile cGMP operations, ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement across the company’s quality systems.
Prior to this appointment, Prahalad held senior quality control leadership positions at several leading pharmaceutical organisations, including Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Nirma Group, Sun Pharma, Wockhardt, Cipla, Mylan, Ipca Laboratories, and Nicholas Piramal (Roche Products Ltd.). Throughout his career, he has successfully led multiple regulatory inspections, including USFDA and MHRA audits, with a consistent record of “no observations,” showcasing his deep expertise in compliance and risk management.
A certified Master Coach in Lean Operations (McKenzie), Prahalad has consistently delivered measurable business impact by streamlining processes, reducing cycle times, and optimising cost efficiency. His achievements include implementing innovation-driven initiatives such as “Aspire – The Idea Engine,” which focused on work simplification, cost reduction, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. As a Certified Master Trainer and Lead Investigator, he also has a strong track record in capability building, technical writing for SOPs, and root cause analysis.
Academically, Prahalad holds a Master’s in Organic Chemistry and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which have strengthened his technical and managerial expertise in pharmaceutical operations. With his proven leadership, regulatory knowledge, and resilience in managing complex quality systems, his appointment marks a significant step for Aculife Healthcare as it strengthens its global quality framework.
