Ravindra Pingle Joins HDFC Pension as Chief Information Security Officer

Ravindra Pingle has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at HDFC Pension, effective August 2025. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s information security framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving cybersecurity resilience to safeguard sensitive financial data.

Ravindra brings over 17 years of extensive experience in information security, governance, risk management, and compliance. Prior to joining HDFC Pension, he served as Head of Information Security at Lyra, where he led security strategy, implemented robust policies, and managed regulatory audits. He has also held senior leadership positions at FIS, where he spent over six years as Senior Manager and Information Security Manager, overseeing PCI DSS, PCI PIN, and ISO compliance initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Ravindra worked with Integreon, NIIT Technologies, and TVS Net Technologies, where he gained strong expertise in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, vendor risk management, and IT security audits. His contributions have consistently focused on embedding security into business processes and building resilient technology environments.

At HDFC Pension, Ravindra’s mandate will be to align the company’s security strategy with business goals, enhance governance mechanisms, and ensure readiness against evolving cyber threats. His appointment highlights the company’s commitment to robust cybersecurity practices and its proactive approach to protecting customer trust in the digital age.
