Ajay Mishra has stepped into a pivotal leadership role as Assistant Vice President at India Today Group, marking a significant milestone in his extensive marketing career. With over two decades of experience in performance marketing, CRM, and consumer revenue strategy, Ajay is now spearheading the Group’s vision to drive new user growth, digital expansion, and revenue monetisation across its iconic publishing brands.

In his new role, Ajay is entrusted with leading India Today Group’s entire consumer revenue portfolio. This includes accelerating print and digital subscriptions, scaling paid event registrations for prestigious properties like India Today Conclave and Sahitya Aajtak, and strengthening the customer experience through a robust CRM and support ecosystem. His responsibilities align directly with the Group’s ambitions to enhance user engagement and long-term monetisation.

Ajay’s journey with India Today spans over 11 years. Prior to this promotion, he served as Senior General Manager, where he played a crucial role in driving performance marketing, lead management, and first-party data utilisation to optimise user acquisition and retention. Under his guidance, India Today successfully expanded the paid subscriber base for India Today, Business Today, TIME, and Reader’s Digest, while maintaining a healthy P&L for the business.

Ajay began his career with MRM Worldwide, rising through the ranks while leading loyalty programmes for automotive giants like Hero MotoCorp and Maruti Suzuki. His diverse experience also includes strategic roles at NetAmbit, Hansa Cequity, and across multiple verticals such as insurance, e-commerce, and publishing. With MBAs in both Marketing and Operations, his academic credentials complement his on-ground expertise in delivering growth at scale.

With this new chapter, Ajay Mishra is poised to elevate India Today Group’s digital revenue ecosystem and build deeper, more valuable customer relationships in an increasingly competitive media landscape.
