Based in Bengaluru, Varun is now responsible for leading and shaping the organization’s QA strategy, overseeing compliance, and ensuring operational excellence across all GxP areas, including GMP, GLP, and GDP.
With over a decade of rich experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance, Varun brings deep industry insight to his new position. At Senses Pharmaceuticals, his mandate spans the entire product lifecycle—from R&D and tech transfers to manufacturing and distribution—ensuring strict adherence to global regulatory requirements, including those set by CDSCO, EMA, WHO, and other key authorities. His leadership is central to driving a culture of quality, embedding robust systems, and fostering regulatory readiness.
Before joining Senses Pharmaceuticals in May 2025, Varun was associated with Micro Labs Limited for over five years, where he held progressive roles including Manager, Assistant Manager, and Senior Executive. At Micro Labs’ injectable facility in Bengaluru, he played a crucial role in quality systems management, regulatory inspections, data integrity initiatives, and cross-functional coordination—cementing his reputation as a dependable and compliance-focused professional.
Varun’s earlier stints at Mylan Laboratories Limited and Gland Pharma Limited further honed his expertise in documentation, IPQA, and manufacturing compliance. From managing validation activities to leading internal and external audits, his hands-on experience in QA functions across global pharmaceutical setups positions him well for his strategic responsibilities at Senses Pharmaceuticals.
