Darshan Shaha appointed as Deputy General Manager – Marketing for the Respicare division at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he will be leading strategic marketing initiatives across the respiratory portfolio. In this role, he is focused on driving brand growth, advancing therapy leadership in chronic respiratory conditions, and supporting patient access through clinically meaningful programs and physician engagement strategies.

Before joining Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Darshan served as Associate Director and Marketing Head for the Cipla Respiratory business at Cipla. During his tenure, he launched and scaled a new division focused on inhalation therapies, managing a portfolio of over 275 Cr and leading a field force team of more than 260 professionals. He also played a pivotal role in shaping the “Pulmo Rehab Program,” a first-of-its-kind physiotherapy-led patient rehabilitation initiative that significantly improved quality of life outcomes for patients with chronic lung disorders.

Darshan had earlier led the PH Care division at Cipla Respiratory, where he managed a 125 Cr portfolio and implemented impactful patient care activations for ILD and PAH management. Prior to this, he worked as Group Brand Manager for Cipla’s nebulization business, overseeing key brands such as Duolin Respules, Budecort Respules, Budesal Respules, and Aerocort Inhaler, while driving major awareness and education campaigns including Safe Nebulization Practice, Mission Pedia, and Berok Zindagi.

Earlier in his career, Darshan held marketing leadership roles with Abbott, Alkem Laboratories, and Intas Pharmaceuticals, where he managed flagship brands, product portfolios, physician marketing initiatives, and brand development strategies across multiple therapy areas.
