Michele Melina Sereno has taken on the role of Head Human Resources, India at Chargeback Gurus, where she is leading HR strategy, organizational development, talent management, and people operations. In this position, she is focused on strengthening culture, enhancing workforce capability, and aligning human capital frameworks with business growth and performance outcomes across the organization.
Before this, Michele served as HR Director at Chargeback Gurus, where she played a key role in shaping people practices, process excellence, and leadership development. She led initiatives across HR project management, capability-building, and employee experience, contributing to a more agile and people-centric HR operating model within the company.
Earlier, Michele held the position of Director of Office Operations & HR at The Mobile Apps Company, LLC, where she managed global HR operations, change management programs, and cross-location organizational alignment. She has also served as Head HR at Vakil Search, where she drove strategic HR leadership and workforce transformation priorities.
In her earlier tenure, Michele spent more than eight years as Chief Operating Officer and Head HR at ArtisArk Pvt. Ltd. & 7Mantle Studios, where she helped shape organizational culture, operational frameworks, and HR transformation initiatives. She began her career with Essar Oil and Vira International, building expertise in HR project management, workforce development, organizational effectiveness, and leadership alignment. Across her journey, Michele has been recognized for championing innovation, building future-ready workplaces, and driving strong alignment between people strategy and business success.
