Sunil S. has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager – Corporate EHS & ESG at Premium Transmission Limited, marking a significant step in his two-decade career in environmental, health, safety, and sustainability leadership. In his new role, he is responsible for strengthening corporate-wide EHS frameworks, driving ESG initiatives, and shaping long-term sustainability vision across operations.
Before joining Premium Transmission, Sunil served as the Corporate EHS Head at Jaya Hind Industries Limited, where he led dual responsibilities of EHS and Sustainability. His tenure focused on transforming compliance structures, implementing strategic sustainability roadmaps, and enhancing EHS governance across multiple units.
Previously, he held the role of Corporate EHS & Sustainability Head at Tata Motors, where he contributed to large-scale sustainability programs, net-zero strategies, and enterprise-wide EHS culture enhancement. His leadership played a key role in standardizing safety systems across diverse manufacturing setups.
Sunil also spent five years at Endurance Technologies Ltd. as Corp. EHS Head PAN India, where he successfully deployed national-level EHS strategies, advanced sustainability reporting efforts, and drove multiple improvement projects that strengthened organizational compliance and employee engagement.
With earlier leadership roles at Caterpillar Power Generation Systems, Cooper Corporation, Neosym Industries (C.K. Birla Group), Raymond Ltd., and Jain Irrigation Systems, Sunil brings extensive exposure in EHS audits, safety engineering, statutory compliances, ESG frameworks, and greenfield project risk management. His expertise spans over two decades of building safe, compliant, and future-ready industrial environments.
