Chinmay Pati (LinkedIn) has joined KP Group as Assistant Vice President, where he will spearhead business development in transmission towers, monopoles, and international sales. With nearly two decades of professional expertise in power transmission, renewable energy, and business development, he brings a wealth of leadership experience across diverse markets.
Before joining KP Group, Pati was associated with Utkarsh India Limited as General Manager, leading international sales and marketing, P&L management, and key account strategies. His role there was instrumental in expanding the company’s global footprint while strengthening long-term client relationships.
Earlier, Pati worked with Jiangsu Shemar Electric Co., Ltd. as Assistant General Manager, where he managed sales, contract negotiations, tendering, and project P&L oversight. His strategic acumen was also evident during his tenure at Valmont Industries, Inc., where he contributed significantly to international business growth in transmission and distribution solutions.
Pati’s career journey began with technical and project management roles that laid the foundation for his leadership trajectory. At Torrent Power, he was Assistant Manager in Transmission & Distribution, where he focused on loss reduction, operations, and efficiency improvement. His early career at Feedback Infra and Utility Powertech Limited gave him hands-on experience in substation design, commissioning, and power distribution projects.
As Assistant Vice President at KP Group, Pati will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s global business development initiatives in the energy and infrastructure space. With his proven record of driving growth, managing P&L, and executing international projects, his appointment aligns with KP Group’s mission to expand its presence in the power and renewable energy sector.
