Tushar Deshmukh appointed as Senior Manager at Alvarez & Marsal, marking a significant milestone in his consulting career. Based in Bengaluru in a hybrid capacity, he will now be part of the firm’s Business Transformation Services (BTS) team, driving strategic initiatives across mergers and acquisitions, operational excellence, and digital transformation programs for both private equity and enterprise clients. His role is focused on leading complex consulting engagements that support value creation, operational restructuring, and seamless post-transaction integration.
With a strong foundation in M&A advisory, technology integration, and strategy consulting, Tushar brings diverse cross-industry exposure and global project delivery experience. Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, he was part of Accenture Strategy & Consulting, where he led multiple transformation programs involving tech due diligence, Day-One readiness planning, transition service agreements, and integration PMO mandates. His experience also includes delivering high-impact projects across banking, energy, and global enterprise technology environments.
Tushar’s earlier tenure at Deloitte, PwC Acceleration Centers, Accenture Strategy & Consulting and Deloitte USI gave him deep hands-on expertise in post-merger integration, business case modelling, change management, carve-outs, and stakeholder governance. His early professional journey at InfoCepts further strengthened his technical and analytical foundation through extensive work in BI architecture, data insights, and enterprise platform deployments.
Known for his structured consulting approach and strong stakeholder alignment capability, Tushar has led multiple multi-country engagements supporting business units during high-stakes transformation windows. His leadership approach reflects a balance of technical competence, business problem-solving, and people-centric execution—traits that align with Alvarez & Marsal’s performance-driven operating philosophy.
In his new role, he will focus on scaling advisory solutions aligned with deal-flow acceleration across the M&A lifecycle—from diligence to value realization—while contributing to capability building and client partnership expansion across the region.
