Shakeel Siddiqui has stepped into a new leadership role as Assistant Vice President at ECE Elevators (BK Birla Group), bringing with him nearly two decades of experience in strategy, sales, and business development across the elevator and infrastructure industry. In his new position, Siddiqui will focus on driving growth, deepening customer engagement, and strengthening ECE’s presence in key markets.
Before joining ECE Elevators, Siddiqui served as Assistant General Manager – Strategy & Business Development at KONE India, where he was responsible for leading strategic initiatives, market intelligence and business expansion plans across regions. Over his 12+ year stint with KONE, he held diverse leadership roles including Senior Manager – Strategy, Business & Market Intelligence, Senior Regional Manager – Sales & Export, and Manager – Sales NEB, contributing to significant market share gains and customer-centric product strategies.
A mechanical engineer from K.D.K College of Engineering, Nagpur, Siddiqui began his career at KONE Elevator India Pvt. Ltd. and later worked with Schindler India before moving back to KONE in progressively senior capacities. His expertise spans competitive market assessment, customer behaviour analytics, CRM integration and export business development, equipping him with holistic experience across both operations and strategy.
In his new role at ECE Elevators, Siddiqui is expected to build agile, performance-driven teams and foster a strong community of stakeholders as he drives the next phase of growth for the company.
