Abhilash Nair has been leading the charge as Regional Manager – Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) for the North Region at DHL, strengthening the logistics giant’s commitment to operational safety and regulatory compliance. Based in Delhi, Abhilash has played a pivotal role in enhancing workplace safety standards and implementing comprehensive HSE protocols across DHL’s northern operations since April 2021.
With over 13 years of service at DHL Supply Chain, Abhilash has steadily grown through the ranks—from Assistant Manager to Deputy Manager, then to Manager, and now Regional Manager. His focus has consistently been on driving EHS guideline implementation, regulatory compliance, and safety auditing across warehouses and supply chain hubs. Under his leadership, the North Region has witnessed significant strides in aligning with international safety benchmarks while ensuring robust incident prevention mechanisms.
Abhilash’s extensive background in safety and operations began with earlier roles at Tata Teleservices as a Warehouse In-Charge and at Future Group India as an Operational Excellence Executive. These formative experiences gave him a strong grounding in supply chain management, operational efficiency, and environment-health-safety (EHS) support for large-scale retail and telecom operations.
Throughout his career, Abhilash has shown a deep commitment to cultivating a proactive safety culture. His approach blends on-ground vigilance with strategic policy implementation—ensuring both immediate risk mitigation and long-term resilience. He also emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, training, and continuous improvement to build a sustainable safety-first mindset across teams.
