Vipul is no stranger to the Skechers brand. From 2015 to 2022, he served as Deputy General Manager – Corporate Strategy, where he played a key role in the company’s remarkable revenue growth from ₹30 Cr to ₹2000 Cr. During this tenure, he led initiatives in gross margin improvement, ERP and POS implementations, and the successful launch of skechers.in, which generated ₹100 Cr in online sales. His return to the brand comes at a time when Skechers is doubling down on its digital transformation, customer insights, and omnichannel capabilities.

Before his return, Vipul made impactful contributions at Tata CLiQ Fashion, where he served as Head of Operations Excellence. There, he led multiple initiatives such as quick commerce launches, doorstep quality checks, fraud analytics, and seller integration strategies. His prior stint as Vice President – Strategy & Transactions at EY also saw him developing growth strategies for D2C brands and advising large-scale IPO and investment readiness projects, showcasing his ability to blend strategy with execution at the highest levels.

His early career spans finance and strategy roles with Reliance Brands, Gili India, and Gitanjali Lifestyle, where he built a foundation in MIS analytics, business intelligence, and operational modeling. Vipul holds an MBA in Finance from K.C. College of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. His career is underpinned by a track record of cross-functional collaboration, leadership in digital retail, and a keen understanding of customer and market dynamics.
