Prabal Kumar Biswas has joined Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Pvt. Ltd. as Section Manager – Projects, continuing his dynamic journey in civil and infrastructure project management. Based in Ahmedabad, Prabal stepped into the role in January 2025, after serving as Deputy Section Manager within the same organization. His rapid growth within Otsuka showcases his leadership in executing large-scale pharmaceutical infrastructure projects with precision and compliance.
Prior to joining Otsuka, Prabal held a significant tenure of over a decade at Larsen & Toubro, where he worked across multiple high-value infrastructure projects. As Senior Construction Engineer, he led comprehensive civil engineering efforts across the Narmada Valley Development Authority in Madhya Pradesh, managing a diverse portfolio of structures including intake complexes, surge tanks, transformer foundations, electrical substations, and major pipeline installations. His experience reflects strong capabilities in cost control, milestone management, and on-ground execution of multidisciplinary engineering activities.
Prabal’s early career also includes impactful contributions at NTPC Tanda and Indian Oil Corporation’s Paradip facility, where he was instrumental in constructing critical infrastructure such as ESP foundations, conveyor systems, pump houses, coal silos, and RCC pavements. His detailed understanding of structural and utility-based projects, combined with skills in project scheduling, safety systems, and regulatory compliance, has consistently driven quality outcomes across all assignments.
With over a decade of civil project experience, Prabal brings deep operational insight and a results-oriented mindset to Otsuka’s evolving engineering landscape. His ability to align cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and deliver under pressure makes him a vital part of Otsuka’s long-term infrastructure growth.
