Navin Chavan has taken on the role of Deputy Project Manager at Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Pvt. Based in Ahmedabad, Navin is currently leading responsibilities for the company’s Greenfield bag-line injectable project, a strategic initiative aimed at expanding Otsuka’s production capabilities in India. Navin brings with him a strong foundation in industrial and pharmaceutical projects, backed by nearly a decade of hands-on experience. Prior to joining Otsuka Pharmaceutical India, he served at Ultratech India Limited for over five years in multiple capacities, including Project Executive and Project Officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in executing both brownfield and greenfield initiatives, with expertise in deviation management, industry compliance, and advanced engineering solutions.
Earlier in his career, Navin worked as a Design Engineer with Wintage Impex and Samarth Turnkey Solution Pvt. Ltd., where he was actively involved in equipment selection, verification and validation (V&V), and layout planning. These roles refined his technical acumen and reinforced his understanding of integrated project management within manufacturing environments. His experience spans across industries, offering him a unique blend of agility, compliance knowledge, and technical precision.
