Indu Mehta has recently joined Kotak Mahindra Bank as Deputy Vice President (PSU vertical), marking a significant career milestone in the Indian banking industry. Based in New Delhi, Indu brings with her a decade-long track record of excellence in relationship management, strategic planning, and financial consulting across India’s leading financial institutions.
Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank in July 2025, Indu held a prominent position at ICICI Bank, where she served for over six years. Rising from Account Manager to Senior Relationship Manager in the Global Client Group, she worked closely with large corporate clients, delivering solutions around financial planning, business consulting, and P&L management. Her ability to blend analytical thinking with a client-first approach earned her wide recognition in the industry.
Indu’s early career journey includes roles at Jana Small Finance Bank, where she served as Branch Head, and various leadership assignments in collections, transformation, and resource planning. Her diverse skill set spans negotiation, MIS reporting, and business reviews, all backed by a sharp acumen for driving results and delivering value to stakeholders.
A graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, Indu has consistently demonstrated leadership both inside and outside the workplace. During her academic years, she was the Vice President of Enactus IIM Indore and played an active role in student-led business and social initiatives.
With her new role at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Indu is expected to strengthen the PSU vertical and deepen client relationships through insight-driven financial solutions.
