Debayan has been appointed as Head – GTM at Fingpay (Tapits Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), marking a significant milestone in his career across fintech, digital payments, insurance, and business growth leadership. In this role, he will be responsible for driving go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, business expansion, and overall P&L management. He will also focus on building high-performing teams, strengthening market presence, and developing strategic initiatives to accelerate Fingpay’s growth in the rapidly evolving fintech ecosystem.
Prior to joining Fingpay, Debayan served as Zonal Sales Head – East & North East (Term Insurance) at Policybazaar, where he led regional sales operations and built one of the company’s strongest-performing zones. He played a key role in developing localized go-to-market strategies, improving sales productivity, launching new geographies, and driving consistent month-on-month growth through data-driven execution and team leadership. Earlier, at Paytm, he led the Transit Vertical and managed enterprise sales initiatives across metro, bus, parking, and smart city ecosystems, helping expand the adoption of digital payment solutions across India.
Before his fintech leadership roles, Debayan spent over four years with Pine Labs, gaining extensive experience in payments, merchant acquisition, and business development. He also held multiple leadership positions at P Con Enterprise, progressing from Team Lead to Senior Sales Manager. During this period, he successfully built and managed sales teams, drove record-breaking revenue performance, and contributed significantly to business growth through strategic sales planning and customer acquisition initiatives.
With more than a decade of experience spanning fintech, digital payments, insurance, enterprise sales, business development, and revenue management, Debayan brings a strong combination of strategic vision and execution excellence to his new role. His appointment at Fingpay reflects the company’s focus on accelerating market expansion, strengthening go-to-market capabilities, and driving sustainable business growth through customer-centric innovation and operational excellence.
