Anirban Sarkar has been appointed Zonal Sales Manager – East at Hettich India Pvt. Ltd., where he will oversee the complete business portfolio across the East Zone, spanning Trade, OEM, Appliances, Projects, Architects, and Interior segments. With nearly two decades of experience across building materials and consumer-facing industries, Anirban steps into this expanded role with a strong record of accelerating regional growth and strengthening channel ecosystems.
Over the past seven years at Hettich India, Anirban has held progressive leadership roles including Head – East Trade Business, Assistant General Manager, and Regional Sales Manager. During his tenure, he successfully scaled the Kolkata trade and OEM business with remarkable year-on-year growth, delivering 40% growth and 65% over 2019 and 2020 in the year 2021. His leadership across West Bengal and the broader East Zone has been defined by disciplined execution, market expansion, and strong distributor engagement.
Prior to Hettich, Anirban built a diverse commercial career with organizations such as Century Plyboards (India) Limited, DORMA, Armstrong World Industries, Honeywell, Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, Finolex Industries Ltd, and Asahi India Glass Limited. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in institutional sales, project business, product management, and regional market development.
In his new capacity, Anirban will focus on strengthening Hettich’s East Zone footprint, driving multi-channel growth, and building high-performance sales teams aligned with strategic business objectives. His blend of marketing strategy, channel management, and execution rigor positions him to further elevate Hettich’s market leadership in the region.
