His career spans strategic plant operations, large-scale manufacturing leadership, and end-to-end operational governance across some of the most respected organisations in the automotive sector. His journey reflects a consistent trajectory of scaling operations, building high-performance teams, and delivering measurable results across complex, fast-evolving manufacturing environments.
Before returning to Krishna Maruti Ltd., Amendra served as Plant Head at Polyplastics Decorative Pvt. Ltd., where he led production strategy, P&L oversight, supply chain optimisation, machinery capability development, and enterprise-wide excellence frameworks. His leadership strengthened operational discipline, improved throughput, and aligned manufacturing systems with long-term organisational goals.
Prior to that, in his role as Head of Operations at SMR Automotive Systems India, he was responsible for operational efficiency at scale, driving execution excellence across functions including manufacturing, quality, production planning, logistics, and safety. His approach centred on data-driven governance, efficiency models, and disciplined performance measurement.
One of the most defining chapters in his professional journey was his long tenure at Sintex BAPL Ltd., where he progressed from Plant Head to Head North Zone (Senior General Manager – Operation). There, he played a critical role in leading manufacturing for interior and exterior automotive plastic components for leading brands such as Maruti, Honda, Mahindra, and TVS. His contributions included the adoption of digital manufacturing, SOP modernisation, Six Sigma frameworks, lean initiatives, and talent capability models that elevated operations into future-ready manufacturing systems.
Earlier in his career, Amendra made a strong impact at Lumax Industries Ltd., first as Assistant Manager and later as Head of Manufacturing, spearheading quality, operational architecture, and process maturity in line with global best practices. A foundational decade with Krishna Ishizaki Auto Ltd. and Krishna Maruti Ltd. shaped his early leadership path, where he drove Six Sigma deployment, supplier development programs, and product innovation—earning multiple industry awards in Quality Circles, Kaizen, and 5S.
With deep expertise across lean systems, cost optimisation, business transformation, world-class manufacturing, and strategic leadership, Amendra now returns to Krishna Maruti Ltd. with a mission to accelerate scale, capability enhancement, manufacturing excellence, and sustainable growth.
