Basant Jain appointed as Joint Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at LNJ Bhilwara Group, marking a major milestone in his distinguished corporate journey. With more than two decades of leadership experience across renewable energy, clean technology, and industrial sectors, his appointment reflects the Group’s vision of accelerating growth, innovation, and sustainability-led transformation.
Prior to this role, Basant founded Aplos Ventures Private Limited, where he focused on entrepreneurship and strategic business incubation after a long and impactful corporate career. Before stepping into entrepreneurship, he served as the CEO of Mahindra Susten for over 11 years, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company into one of India’s leading players in clean energy and solar infrastructure. Under his leadership, Mahindra Susten executed more than 1000 MW of solar projects, drove large-scale innovation, and helped position the organization at the forefront of India’s renewable energy sector.
His earlier journey includes key leadership contributions at Vedanta Resources, where he built a strong foundation in operations, business performance, stakeholder management, and strategy execution—skills that have since shaped his leadership approach.
