Surjit Singh has rejoined Macleods Pharmaceuticals through its subsidiary Oxalis Labs as Senior Manager – Quality Control, marking a significant new chapter in his professional journey within the pharmaceutical industry. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening quality systems, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and team development within the inhalation products vertical, while supporting the organization’s continued focus on quality and innovation.
With over 17 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, Surjit brings deep expertise across inhalation products and oral solid dosage forms. Throughout his career, he has developed strong capabilities in inhalation product analysis, method validation, stability studies, troubleshooting, technology transfer, laboratory compliance, and regulatory requirements management across complex pharmaceutical operations.
Prior to rejoining Oxalis Labs, Surjit served as Manager at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he handled critical responsibilities related to QMS, OOS/OOT investigations, and inhalation dosage forms including MDI, DPI, nasal, and foam products. Earlier, he spent over seven years with Oxalis Labs as Deputy Manager, gaining extensive experience in quality control operations, audit readiness, validation activities, and analytical excellence.
His professional journey also includes key roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Fresenius Kabi, and Nector Life Science, where he built strong expertise in inhalation laboratory setup, analytical method validation, calibration, investigations, CAPA management, and stability analysis across pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Returning to Oxalis Labs at this stage of his career reflects both continuity and renewed purpose for Surjit, as he brings a fresh perspective, extensive technical expertise, and leadership experience to further strengthen the organization’s quality and compliance ecosystem.
