Ravi Shankar Dubey has been appointed Head of Department – Metalliser (PET & CPP) at Flex Américas S.A. de C.V., based in Altamira, Tamaulipas, Mexico. With over 25 years of expertise in flexible film and paper metallization, Ravi brings deep technical mastery, operational leadership, and a proven track record of driving sustainable growth with cost efficiency across global markets.
Throughout his career, Ravi has developed extensive hands-on expertise across leading metallizer technologies including Bobst (GVE/K4000/K5000/Valmet), Applied Topmet, Nordmeccanica, Bühler, and Ulvac systems. His product portfolio spans a wide spectrum—MPET, MOPP, MCPP, ALOXPET, ALOXOPP, high-barrier Alu-bond, EVOH, LDPE, holography, DG coated films, stamping foil, direct metallized paper (DMP), and metallized release films (MRF). Known for his deep understanding of machine technology, process stability (PSP), data analysis, production planning, and team management, Ravi has consistently delivered high-quality output with optimized operational efficiency.
Before joining Flex Americas, Ravi held senior leadership roles at BC Jindal Group and SRF Industries Thailand, where he led metallizing operations, production planning, quality control, preventive maintenance, and cost management. Earlier in his career, he built strong operational foundations at Vacmet India Ltd and Surat Metallics Limited, steadily progressing through technical and managerial roles with a clear focus on achieving “highest production with best quality.”
With international market exposure spanning the USA, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and India, Ravi combines technical depth with global commercial understanding. In his new role at Flex Americas, he is set to further strengthen metallizing operations, enhance product innovation, and drive performance excellence across PET and CPP platforms, reinforcing the company’s leadership in high-performance flexible packaging solutions.
