Prior to joining Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited, Thirumurugan served as Group Vice President – Commercial & Procurement at Thriveni EarthMovers Pvt. Ltd., where he led enterprise-wide procurement strategy, warehouse and logistics operations, quality control, and global trade compliance initiatives. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving cost optimization, improving OTIF performance, strengthening vendor relationship management programs, and implementing advanced supply chain systems to enhance operational efficiency and business continuity.
Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Liugong India, Komatsu India, Komatsu, Rieter, and Lakshmi Machine Works Limited, building deep expertise across supply chain management, vendor development, production planning, procurement transformation, warehouse management, and manufacturing operations. He has successfully led localization projects, plant ramp-ups, global sourcing initiatives, lean manufacturing programs, and large-scale cost reduction strategies across automotive, heavy equipment, and engineering sectors.
