In this role, he will lead country-level strategy, commercial operations, and market expansion initiatives, strengthening Alkem’s presence and driving sustainable growth in key global markets.
Prior to this appointment, Lavkush served as Country Manager at Troikaa Pharmaceuticals Ltd., based in Kampala, Uganda, where he delivered strong business growth and consistently achieved budget targets. During his tenure, he successfully launched innovative products, including the world’s first Methylcobalamin Spray, and built a high-performing local team through focused people development and capability-building initiatives. His leadership played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint and strengthening its market position in the region.
Earlier in his career, Lavkush held key commercial roles at global pharmaceutical leaders including Novartis Oncology and Pfizer, where he drove key account growth, supported new product launches, and expanded access across institutional and government healthcare segments. He also began his journey with organizations such as Ranbaxy Laboratories and Lupin Limited, building strong foundations in sales, marketing, and therapeutic portfolio management.
With over a decade of experience across domestic and international markets, Lavkush brings deep expertise in country management, team leadership, and strategic execution.
