Sandeep Kumar Sen has been appointed as Technical Assistant of Unit Head (Deputy Manager) at Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, Belgaum, Karnataka. Prior to this, Sandeep has been serving as Assistant Manager at UltraTech Cement, where he has been actively involved in process engineering and manufacturing optimization. Earlier, during his nearly six-year tenure with KHD Humboldt Wedag, he gained rich exposure in project initiation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of pyro and grinding circuits. His expertise includes commissioning and operation of Roller Press, Ball Mill, Kiln, Cooler, and Pyro Jet Burner systems, along with in-depth experience in circuit analysis, DCS interlock verification, PID tuning, refractory planning, and shutdown execution.


Sandeep also built a strong operational foundation at J.K. Cement Limited, where he progressed from Assistant Process Officer to Process Officer, handling commissioning and process control functions. His early career includes roles at Mewar University and SANGAM INDIA LTD, where he developed practical exposure to plant operations, team coordination, and shift management. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated strong analytical skills, leadership capability, and the ability to execute complex projects within strict timelines.


With proven expertise in full-plant operations, process flow optimization, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination, Sandeep brings a results-driven and technically sound leadership approach to his new role. His appointment at Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd is expected to further strengthen plant performance, operational stability, and continuous improvement initiatives at the Belgaum unit.
