Lalit Joshi has joined Alfred H Knight India as General Manager – Sustainability, bringing with him extensive experience of working with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 & 250 organizations to drive impactful sustainability and ESG solutions. In this role, he will lead the development of the organisation’s sustainability and ESG service portfolio, build capabilities, and position Alfred H Knight as a trusted partner for end-to-end sustainability solutions across industries.
With a strong and diverse professional journey, Lalit began his career at Axis Bank, where he gained foundational experience in retail banking operations and forex within the service industry. He then transitioned into the product industry with Avery Dennison and Coats Group plc, where he focused on B2B sales, new business development, and driving sustainable revenue growth across key customer portfolios.
He further expanded his expertise in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry through leadership roles at Intertek and Eurofins Scientific, where he managed large-scale business development initiatives, P&L responsibilities, and high-performing teams. His work involved scaling operations, strengthening client relationships, and driving market expansion across multiple sectors.
Most recently, Lalit served at SGS, where he led sustainability strategy, commercial growth, and new service development in areas such as carbon services, lifecycle assessments, and compliance frameworks. Across his career, he has demonstrated a strong ability to blend strategy with execution—making him well-positioned to drive Alfred H Knight India’s sustainability vision forward in an increasingly ESG-focused global landscape.
