Dhwani Dharamshi has been appointed as Deputy General Manager – Legal, Compliance & Company Secretary at Hubergroup India Pvt Ltd, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey across corporate governance, legal compliance, finance, and secretarial functions. In her new role, she will focus on strengthening governance frameworks, driving secretarial compliance, and providing legal and commercial guidance aligned with business objectives.
Prior to joining Hubergroup India, Dhwani served as Company Secretary & Internal Auditor | EMEAI Finance at The Lubrizol Corporation, where she gained extensive experience across corporate governance, internal controls, finance, and compliance. Earlier, she held key roles at DIC South Asia Pvt Ltd, progressing from Assistant Manager – Finance & Company Secretary to Manager – Finance & Company Secretary. Her career also includes experience with Neovia Group, where she worked across finance and company secretarial functions, and Oetiker Group, where she handled legal and secretarial compliance, DGFT and RBI compliance, MIS reporting, group reporting, and internal control risk management.
Dhwani began her professional journey with Croda as a Company Secretary Management Trainee, gaining foundational exposure to corporate working practices, the Companies Act, 2013, DGFT compliance, export incentives, and direct and indirect tax compliances. Over the years, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of governance, regulatory frameworks, financial processes, risk management, and corporate compliance, enabling her to work effectively across multiple business functions.
Her mandate at Hubergroup encompasses Corporate Governance & Board Advisory, Secretarial Compliance, Legal & Commercial matters, Contract Lifecycle Management, and cross-functional risk & compliance advisory. With her strong experience across governance and legal compliance, Dhwani looks forward to building robust processes, enabling business objectives, and creating greater value through practical, business-oriented legal and governance solutions.
