Abhishek Sinsinwar has recently taken on the role of General Manager – Corporate Legal at Vodafone Idea Limited. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s legal operations, particularly focusing on commercial and technology contracts, intellectual property management, AI laws, and data privacy frameworks. His expertise in corporate legal strategy and technology law will support the organization’s evolving business and regulatory needs in the telecom sector.
Before joining Vodafone Idea, Abhishek served as Senior Manager – Legal at Fractal, where he led initiatives related to global data privacy, intellectual property, and commercial agreements in the AI and analytics domain. His role involved working closely with leadership to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks in emerging technologies. Prior to that, he worked with Bajaj Electricals Ltd. as Manager – IP & Legal, where he was instrumental in handling IP protection, contract management, and strategic legal matters for the organization.
Abhishek’s earlier career includes significant experience with leading law firms such as K&S Partners and Khaitan & Co, where he worked as an Associate specializing in patents and design law. He also gained early professional exposure through internships with Remfry & Sagar, Tata Steel, and K&S Partners in their patent divisions. These roles helped him build a strong foundation in intellectual property rights and research-based legal advisory.
Before transitioning fully into law, Abhishek worked in the engineering and manufacturing sectors with Yokohama Tire Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric, and Indian Oil Corporation Limited, where he gained hands-on experience in operations, technical projects, and industrial compliance.
