Shweta Chavan has joined HDFC Bank as Senior Portfolio Manager – Debit Cards. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving debit card portfolio growth, customer engagement strategies, and end-to-end lifecycle management.
Before this, she worked at Axis Bank for over five years, where she held key roles in the Credit Cards division, including Senior Portfolio Manager and Manager – Credit Cards Portfolio (Early Activation and Retention). During her tenure, she led several digital and strategic initiatives focused on enhancing customer experience and retention in the highly competitive cards segment.
Earlier in her career, Shweta gained diverse experience through internships with Parag Milk Foods, Log5 Communications Pvt Ltd., Kids Medical Systems Ltd., and Pharmaceutical Products of India Ltd., where she developed strong skills in communication, strategy, and marketing.
