Kamlesh Prasad has been appointed as the General Manager – IT Operations, Infrastructure & Cyber Security at Nexus Malls, marking a significant leadership elevation within the organization after an impactful eight-year journey. With deep expertise across IT operations, hybrid infrastructure, cybersecurity governance, cloud architecture, and business intelligence, he steps into this role with a proven record of building resilient, scalable, and future-ready technology ecosystems. His mandate focuses on steering enterprise-wide technology operations, fortifying the cyber landscape, and driving digital transformation across Nexus’s retail portfolio.
In this strategic role, Kamlesh will oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure—spanning on-premise, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments—while ensuring that cybersecurity, compliance, and governance frameworks remain robust and adaptive. He will lead the organization’s technology roadmap, strengthen data centers and disaster recovery architecture, and elevate security posture through advanced perimeter security, risk management practices, and next-gen digital tools. His expertise as a technical architect in Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms positions him to bring enhanced efficiency and stronger digital resilience to the business.
Before this elevation, Kamlesh served as Deputy General Manager – IT Operations, Infrastructure & Cyber Security, where he spearheaded major transformation initiatives. He led critical IT integration for acquisitions, drove large-scale technology migrations, and strengthened InfoSec operations. His work in designing and governing enterprise-wide IT security frameworks played a pivotal role in enhancing compliance maturity and operational readiness across the organization’s assets.
Kamlesh’s earlier roles at Nexus Malls—particularly as Assistant General Manager – IT Operations, Infrastructure & Cyber Security—established him as a key architect behind the brand’s technology evolution. His leadership in IT operations, BI dashboards, cloud frameworks, and cyber defense systems consistently contributed to smoother business continuity, proactive threat mitigation, and improved digital visibility for decision-makers.
Prior to joining Nexus Malls, Kamlesh gained extensive experience across leading organizations such as Avenue E-Commerce Ltd, Accenture, IBM India, and Sitel. Over his career, he has built strong capabilities in strategic planning, technical architecture, contract and people management, data center design, and enterprise IT governance. With nearly two decades of experience across IT and cybersecurity functions, he now brings his vast technological acumen, leadership strength, and innovation-driven mindset to his expanded role at Nexus Malls.
