Jaison Thomas has been appointed as General Manager – Marketing & Business Development at Thumbay Healthcare, UAE, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales leadership, and growth strategy across the Middle East and India.
In his current role, Jaison is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening patient engagement, and advancing integrated marketing and business development initiatives across the Thumbay Healthcare network. His appointment comes at a time when healthcare organizations are increasingly focused on digital transformation, patient-centric outreach, and sustainable growth models—areas where Jaison has demonstrated consistent leadership and results.
Prior to joining Thumbay Healthcare, Jaison spent nearly 18 years with Zulekha Hospital, where he held multiple senior leadership roles including Director of Marketing & Sales, Deputy Director – Marketing, and Cluster Head. As a core member of the management committee, he led group-wide marketing strategy, business planning, CSR initiatives, and budgeting, while overseeing high-performing teams across Dubai and Sharjah. Under his leadership, the group achieved significant revenue growth, enhanced brand perception, and was recognized as a Superbrand for branding and service excellence.
A key highlight of his tenure at Zulekha Hospital was the implementation of digital health initiatives, including online health services, virtual care solutions, and home healthcare services. He also executed successful partnerships with digital health platforms such as OKDOC and MEDDY, strengthening access, convenience, and patient experience.
Earlier in his career, Jaison held roles in business development and corporate relations at organizations including Shafi Medical Center, ICICI Lombard, and Vodafone, building a strong foundation in customer acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion.
