Tarun Jain has been appointed as Assistant General Manager – Operations at Yazaki India Private Limited, where he is responsible for leading manufacturing operations with a focus on production excellence, operational efficiency, quality, and customer delivery. In his new role, he oversees key operational priorities including productivity improvement, cost optimization, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives, workforce planning, equipment reliability, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable business performance.
With over 16 years of experience in automotive manufacturing and operations, Tarun has built deep expertise in production management, shop-floor leadership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Before joining Yazaki India, he spent more than eight years at Aptiv, progressing from Deputy Manager to Manufacturing Manager, where he led manufacturing operations, improved productivity, and strengthened quality and operational performance across key production functions.
Earlier in his career, Tarun held manufacturing leadership roles at Delphi Packard, where he managed large-scale shop-floor operations specializing in cutting, crimping, and assembly while driving TPM, Poka-Yoke, and APQP initiatives. He also gained valuable production experience with Ishman Autoelectric Pvt. Ltd. and UKB Electronics Pvt. Ltd., building a strong technical foundation in automotive manufacturing processes and production systems.
