Ramkishore R has been appointed as AVP – HR & IR at Arvind Ltd, where he will be heading the Human Resources and Industrial Relations function for the Arvind Garment Business. In this leadership role, he will focus on strengthening HR strategy, workforce transformation, employee relations, organizational capability, and people practices across the business. With over 17 years of experience in human resources, industrial relations, manufacturing ecosystems, and workforce management, Ramkishore brings extensive expertise in building scalable HR frameworks, managing multi-plant operations, strengthening employee engagement, and driving organizational growth.
Prior to joining Arvind Ltd, Ramkishore served as ER Head India at Coats, where he was entrusted with transforming HR and employee relations operations during a complex restructuring phase across multiple manufacturing locations. Before that, he worked as HR Head India Manufacturing at General Mills India, leading HR governance, capability building, and workforce initiatives while supporting manufacturing expansion and establishing effective HR systems. Earlier, he held the role of Factory HR Manager at Reckitt, where he played a key role in managing workforce stability, employee relations, restructuring initiatives, and HR operations across manufacturing facilities.
Earlier in his career, Ramkishore worked with Tata Power Renewable Energy Solar Systems Limited as Manager HR & IR, Business Partner, where he supported HR transformation, industrial relations, and workforce initiatives across manufacturing and operational sites. He also held HR leadership roles at United Breweries Ltd., where he contributed to strengthening HR operations and workforce processes, and at Advik Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd., where he supported the establishment of HR systems for a new manufacturing facility. His early career includes experience with SYSCAP India and KALPA ELECTRIKAL PVT. LTD., where he developed expertise in HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, and manufacturing HR practices.
