Shambhu Mukherjee has been appointed as Vice President – Head of Contracts & Procurement at Venus Star Construction, a Venus Star Group company. This appointment marks a key leadership addition as the organization continues to strengthen its procurement and contract management capabilities across large-scale construction projects.
In his new role, Shambhu will lead end-to-end procurement and contract functions, with a focus on enhancing vendor strategies, optimizing costs, and ensuring efficient project execution. His mandate includes driving structured procurement frameworks, strengthening supplier partnerships, and aligning commercial strategies with business objectives.
He brings over two decades of extensive experience in procurement and supply chain leadership across the real estate and infrastructure sectors. Prior to this, he served as Head of Procurement and Contract at Shrachi Group and held the position of CPO & Vice President – Purchase & Contract at Bhawani Group, where he led large-scale procurement transformations and contract governance initiatives.
His career also includes significant tenures at Elan Group, CHD Developers Ltd., Era Infra Engineering Limited, and DLF Home Developers Ltd.. Across these organizations, he has built deep expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy, consistently driving operational excellence and value creation.
