Anil Ashok Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Oncquest Laboratories Ltd., marking a major milestone in his two-decade journey across HR leadership, people strategy, and organizational development. In his new role, he will spearhead the full spectrum of human capital initiatives, shaping HR transformation, capability building, and culture development across the organisation.
Before joining Oncquest Laboratories, Anil served as the Vice President – Human Resources at Atulaya Healthcare, where he led multi-location HR operations, strengthened employee engagement frameworks, and implemented strategic HR reforms that supported organisational expansion and workforce efficiency.
Earlier, Anil spent over six years at AGILUS Diagnostics (formerly SRL Ltd.) as the HR Business Partner – North, driving business transformation, talent development programs, and leadership alignment across the region. His role focused on elevating HR as a business enabler, improving employee experience, and standardising people processes.
Prior to his healthcare HR leadership journey, Anil spent 11 years at Bharti Airtel, holding multiple HR roles including Assistant Manager Shared Services – HR and Performance Management Analyst. His exposure spanned recruitment, L&D, HR audits, compliance, employee engagement, operational planning, and managing performance culture across internal and outsourced teams.
Anil’s early career includes impactful stints at Conneqt Business Solutions, Sebiz Infotech, and IDS Infotech, where he built his foundations in quality auditing, customer experience, sales operations, and process management. With extensive expertise in people management, strategic HR planning, change management, and leadership development, he brings a powerful blend of analytical, strategic, and people-centric capabilities to his new CHRO mandate.
