Mahendra Samal has rejoined Infosys as Associate Vice President, bringing with him over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, IT service delivery, and digital transformation leadership. Based in Bengaluru, he will play a key role in driving Infosys’ cybersecurity strategy, enhancing delivery excellence, and leading large-scale transformation programs in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Mahendra’s return to Infosys marks a significant milestone in a career deeply rooted in technology leadership. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President at ITC Infotech, where he was instrumental in scaling cybersecurity and digital infrastructure services. During his tenure, he focused on strengthening enterprise security frameworks, managing global delivery operations, and enabling clients to adopt next-generation cyber resilience models.
Before ITC Infotech, Mahendra held the position of Associate Vice President & Delivery Head at CSS Corp (now Movate), where he led multi-geography service delivery operations, driving innovation and automation in IT and security operations. His earlier experience at Infosys between 2010 and 2019—as Senior Project Manager and later Delivery Manager—laid the foundation for his deep understanding of the company’s culture, processes, and technology capabilities.
Throughout his career, Mahendra has demonstrated a strong ability to align business goals with secure digital transformation, leveraging his expertise across enterprise security, managed services, and operational governance. His leadership has consistently focused on building high-performance teams, implementing scalable delivery frameworks, and driving measurable business outcomes.
