Prajeesh K G (LinkedIn) has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Muthoot Capital Services Ltd., effective September 2025. Based in Kochi, Kerala, he will be leading the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, risk management framework, and information security governance to ensure robust protection of digital assets and regulatory compliance.
Prajeesh brings with him over 18 years of diverse experience in the areas of cybersecurity, risk management, governance, and IT operations. Prior to this, he served as Head of Information Security at Joyalukkas, where he was instrumental in strengthening security operations and implementing advanced threat detection mechanisms. Before that, he worked with ESAF Bank for more than four years, holding key leadership roles including Manager – Security Operations and Deputy Manager – Information Security, driving SOC operations, cloud security, and vulnerability management.
His professional journey also includes impactful roles at Dhanlaxmi Bank as Senior Network Security Engineer, Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. as Senior Engineer, and early stints with Wipro and Prudent Technologies, where he honed his expertise in network security, incident response, and IT infrastructure management. Over the years, he has built strong skills in GRC, threat intelligence, IAM, endpoint security, DLP, SOC operations, and business continuity planning.
