Dr. Sadanand Mushigeri has joined Clariant as the Head of Regulatory Compliance Execution, Global Product Stewardship, bringing with him over two decades of in-depth expertise in toxicology, product stewardship, and regulatory risk management. Based in Mumbai, he now leads a high-impact global team focused on streamlining regulatory operations, ensuring product compliance across diverse geographies, and driving strategic improvements across Clariant’s regulatory compliance frameworks.
Dr. Mushigeri’s journey into Clariant follows a stellar track record with top-tier global chemical and manufacturing organizations. Prior to this, he held leadership roles at Archroma, Heubach, and Huntsman Corporation, where he successfully managed regulatory submissions, toxicology evaluations, and spearheaded over 300 REACH dossiers for the EU market. At Archroma, he served as Head of Global Risk Assessment and was instrumental in integrating the legacy Huntsman Textile Effects portfolio into Archroma’s stewardship programs post-merger.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Mushigeri served as a regulatory toxicologist at Dow Chemicals, where he developed toxicological dossiers using IUCLID and supported hazard classification efforts under REACH, GHS, and CLP norms. His academic grounding and industry leadership have made him a recognized figure in ecotoxicology, industrial hygiene, and compliance training across global teams. Notably, during his time at Huntsman, he earned a reputation as a global go-to expert for regulatory toxicology within one of the corporation’s most demanding divisions.
