Prior to this role, Sujal served for nearly five years at Warner Music Group, where he held dual roles—General Manager, Operations – India and SAARC and Finance Director – India and SAARC. His leadership was instrumental in scaling Warner Music’s regional operations, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing the company’s financial strategies across a competitive landscape. His keen grasp of business transformation and market expansion has earned him a reputation as one of the most versatile executives in the entertainment ecosystem.
Before joining Warner Music Group, Sujal had an impressive decade-long stint at Bigtree Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of BookMyShow, where he rose to the role of Associate Vice President – Finance. During this period, he played a vital role in managing the company’s rapid financial growth, investor relations, and internal controls during a transformative time for India’s online entertainment and ticketing sector.
Sujal’s earlier roles also include key finance and accounting positions at ArjoHuntleigh Healthcare, Stifel India Pvt Ltd (GSK Pharma), and M. P. Chitale & Co., Chartered Accountants, where he developed a strong foundation in statutory audits, corporate governance, and financial compliance. These experiences have honed his analytical and leadership capabilities—qualities that are now expected to chart a bold path forward for Zee Music Company.
