Based in Jamuria, West Bengal, Arghya took on this new role in April 2025, where he is already making strides in workforce planning, process improvement, and resource optimization.
With over 13 years at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., Arghya brings deep expertise in industrial engineering, having progressively advanced through leadership roles, most recently serving as Assistant General Manager. At Jindal, he was instrumental in heading the Industrial Engineering department at their Angul facility, where he led key initiatives around cost efficiency, productivity enhancement, and effective manpower deployment—capabilities that now position him as a valuable asset to Super Smelters’ strategic operations.
Arghya’s approach is built on a robust foundation of Workforce Analytics, Productivity Engineering, and Cost Rationalization, ensuring that every process is both lean and impactful. At Super Smelters, he is focused on aligning industrial operations with long-term business objectives, helping to optimize the use of manpower, mobile equipment, and logistics. An alumnus of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Arghya holds a Master of Technology in Industrial Engineering & Management, with a specialization in productivity. He also holds a B.Tech from the Bengal College of Engineering and Technology.
