Kunal Joshi has joined ICB Indian Craft Brewery as the Business Head – Operations, bringing with him over two decades of extensive leadership experience in hospitality operations, brand building, and strategic business growth. In his new role, Kunal is responsible for driving ICB’s strategic expansion, overseeing operations, and ensuring profitability through exceptional guest experiences, innovative marketing activations, and operational excellence. Based in Bangalore, he will manage the P&L, lead a high-performing team, strengthen aggregator partnerships, and position ICB as the city’s preferred destination for craft beer and premium dining.
Before his move to ICB, Kunal served as General Manager – Operations at Sidecar India, where he implemented key process improvements, led cross-functional teams, and achieved a notable 20% increase in profit margins through cost optimization strategies. His tenure at Sidecar was marked by enhanced customer satisfaction, streamlined operations, and sustained business growth, underlining his ability to combine operational precision with customer-centric strategies.
Previously, Kunal held the role of Director of Operations at VRO Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., where he successfully managed a diverse portfolio of premium hospitality brands. His decade-long journey with JSM Corporation Pvt. Ltd. further solidified his reputation as a seasoned leader in the industry, where he served as Director of Operations and Regional General Manager for Hard Rock Café across Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Gurgaon. His expertise in large-scale restaurant management, brand rollouts, and multi-city operations has been a hallmark of his career.
Kunal’s leadership journey also includes serving as Operations Head – South India for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts & Coffee under Landmark Group, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the brand’s footprint in the region. Known for his strategic foresight, operational discipline, and passion for delivering memorable customer experiences, he has consistently driven business growth across every organization he has led.
