Anikpal Singh has been elevated to Deputy Vice President (North Travel Agency) at TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited, recognizing his consistent contributions and leadership within the organization. In his new role, he will lead the North Travel Vertical, focusing on business growth, channel expansion, agency partnerships, and market development across the travel insurance segment in Northern India. His elevation reflects the trust the organization has placed in his ability to drive strategic growth and strengthen distribution networks.
Anikpal began his professional journey with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, where he gained valuable experience in motor insurance sales and built a strong foundation in the insurance industry. He later joined HDFC ERGO General Insurance as Sales Manager, where he managed multiple lines of business and expanded his expertise across retail insurance products. His career progression continued at Apollo Munich Health Insurance, where he served as Branch Manager and played an important role in driving health insurance business growth and customer acquisition. Following Apollo Munich’s merger with HDFC ERGO, he further strengthened his understanding of the health insurance ecosystem.
In 2021, Anikpal joined TATA AIG General Insurance in the KRG (Broker) vertical, leading retail health insurance business initiatives as Senior Area Manager. His strong performance and leadership capabilities earned him a promotion to Associate Vice President (Agency Travel – North), where he successfully managed agency and broking channels across travel and health insurance portfolios. Through these roles, he contributed significantly to channel development, partner engagement, and business expansion across key markets.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning motor, health, travel, agency, and broker insurance businesses, Anikpal has built a reputation as a results-oriented insurance leader with deep expertise in distribution management and sales growth.
