Dr. Kashyap Nagariya has been elevated to the role of Assistant Division Head at Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant leadership milestone in his extensive pharmaceutical journey. Based in Ahmedabad, Dr. Nagariya has been a key contributor to Otsuka’s research and development efforts, most recently serving as Senior Section Manager (AGM) – New Product Development. In this new capacity, he is expected to lead the formulation pipeline, steer innovation strategies, and guide end-to-end product lifecycle execution for critical sterile pharmaceutical formulations.
Dr. Nagariya’s journey at Otsuka began in 2020, where he initially led the formulation development function, focusing on new products for international markets and enhancing the quality of existing drug offerings. His promotion reflects his deep scientific acumen and track record of delivering complex sterile products aligned with global regulatory standards. He has played an instrumental role in establishing robust new product pipelines and managing techno-commercial evaluations for high-impact pharmaceutical projects.
Prior to his tenure at Otsuka, Dr. Nagariya held notable R&D positions across leading pharmaceutical companies. As Principal Scientist at JAMP Pharma Corporation, and previously as Senior Research Scientist at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, he was deeply involved in developing sterile dosage forms with a focus on scientific excellence and patient outcomes. He also contributed significantly during his time with Zydus Group, where he advanced from Associate to Research Scientist, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities and cross-functional leadership.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in sterile formulation development, regulatory compliance, and strategic R&D execution, Dr. Nagariya’s new role as Assistant Division Head will reinforce Otsuka’s commitment to innovation and patient-centric development.
