Srinivasa Rao Nallamothu has been elevated to Associate Vice President – Quality at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, marking a significant advancement in his leadership journey within the global pharmaceutical space. With over three years of experience at the organization and a deep commitment to quality excellence, Srinivasa now holds the overall responsibility for quality functions at the Visakhapatnam site, playing a key leadership role as part of the Site Leadership Team.
In this elevated role, Srinivasa is tasked with strengthening the organization’s quality systems and ensuring full compliance with global standards. His strategic oversight includes developing long-term quality roadmaps, driving operational excellence, and translating global quality policies into locally relevant frameworks. He leads a robust team across quality assurance, control, documentation, vendor audits, and customer audits—ensuring consistency, integrity, and regulatory alignment.
Srinivasa’s expertise spans across developing and implementing GMP-aligned systems, leading supplier qualifications across global sites, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. He has also been instrumental in aligning the site’s quality objectives with broader corporate strategy, focusing on long-term capability building and team empowerment.
Prior to joining Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, Srinivasa held several senior leadership roles at Granules Omnichem Pvt. Ltd., where he rose through the ranks from Senior Manager to Deputy General Manager – Quality. His earlier roles at Hikal Ltd. further refined his command over quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and process excellence. With over two decades of pharmaceutical quality leadership, Srinivasa is well-positioned to lead Ajinomoto’s quality initiatives into a future of uncompromised standards and global trust.
