Rohit Gavande has stepped into the role of Manager – Global Quality Assurance at ACG World, further deepening his long-standing association with the company that now spans over eight and a half years. Based in India with a hybrid work setup, Rohit brings an exceptional track record of delivering project quality across both domestic and international pharmaceutical manufacturing projects, particularly for greenfield and brownfield ventures.
Prior to assuming his current designation in January 2025, Rohit served as Assistant Manager – Global Quality Assurance at ACG World, where he played a pivotal role in defining qualification and validation strategies, managing cross-functional teams (CFT), and establishing robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) from the ground up. His leadership was instrumental in aligning project quality metrics with regulatory mandates, budgetary constraints, and tight project timelines. His ability to oversee qualification master planning, FAT execution, vendor evaluation, and internal audits has earned him a reputation as a quality systems leader across the organization.
Over the years, Rohit has acted as the Q&V coordinator for as many as eight manufacturing sites globally, ensuring site readiness for regulatory inspections and licensing. He has also been at the forefront of implementing and validating enterprise-level business applications such as Document Management Systems (DMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS). His capability to translate user requirements into validated systems has not only optimized compliance but also enabled seamless operational execution across all ACG sites.
Rohit’s journey began with roles at companies such as Symbiotec Pharmalab, Piramal Group, and Titan Pharmaceuticals, where he developed strong validation expertise and quality system management foundations. With over 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical QA and project quality functions, Rohit’s elevation to this new leadership position underscores ACG World’s emphasis on home-grown talent and long-term strategic vision in global quality assurance.
