Dr Amrita Anand has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) at SSB Healthcare Heart & Multispeciality Hospitals, taking on a leadership role focused on strengthening operational excellence, patient care and sustainable organisational growth.
Dr Amrita brings a strong combination of clinical expertise and healthcare operations experience. Her professional journey includes leadership responsibilities in medical operations, along with experience as a consultant pathologist and attending consultant, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both clinical and organisational aspects of healthcare delivery.
Prior to joining SSB Healthcare, Dr Amrita served at Marengo Asia Hospitals, where she held roles including Medical Superintendent & Deputy Head – Medical Operations and Assistant Medical Superintendent, alongside her responsibilities as an Attending Consultant. She also previously served as a Consultant Pathologist at Dr Lal PathLabs and as a Senior Resident at Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals.
In her new role as COO, Dr Amrita will bring together her clinical background and operational leadership experience to contribute to SSB Healthcare’s vision of delivering exceptional patient care, strengthening operational systems and supporting sustainable growth. Her progression from clinical practice to healthcare operations leadership reflects a journey of expanding responsibilities and a strong commitment to improving healthcare delivery.
